Hi, my name is Lexi and I am a Turkish Van (Mix)
If I could only speak “Human”, I could tell you about the hard life I had. My three one-week-old babies and I were found in the streets of Camden, fending for survival. My previous owner just kicked me out of the house upon finding out that I was pregnant. Me and my little family went into a wonderful Foster Home where for the first time in my life I felt loved. Once my babies were old enough to be adopted out, my Foster Mom made sure they went to good homes but I took it very hard because I loved them dearly and missed them tremendously.
It takes me a little while to warm up to people because I am always scared to get hurt again. I should go into a quiet home with no other pets or small children since I like to play rough every once and a while. I love to sit in the window and watch the birdies flying by and I loooove it when my Foster Mom plays with me with my feather toys and laser teaser.
