Leia fka Tilly (Spayed & Combo Tested)

Leia (fka Tilly) is a beautiful 3-year old female kitty who was surrendered by her owner on July 31, 2024. Leia has an orange tabby medium-haired coat with a patch of white on her chest, white paws, a long ringed tail, and an adorable face with bright golden eyes, a pink nose, nice 'ear furnishings', and long white whiskers. Leia has a sweet, easygoing personality. She was purrfectly content to pose quietly for glamour photos in her cage on July 31st shortly after she was brought to our shelter. Leia is a fairly big girl who is enjoying a large cat tower in the lobby of our shelter, and she loved snuggling up in an over-sized plush donut bed. This lovely kitty may look familiar to some of our ardent followers and fans of HSOV cats. Leia was adopted from our shelter in early June 2022. She was known as Tilly at that time and originally came to HSOV in mid-May 2022 when she was found frolicking around our parking lot and adjacent grassy area. We have included two of Tilly's 2022 Petfinder photos Leia was given updated vaccinations on July 31, 2024. Tilly (now known as Leia) was combo tested on May 19, 2022 and was negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm. She weighed 7 lbs that day. Leia hasn't stepped on our scales yet, but it appears that she is a much larger girl than she was two years ago. Tilly's medium/longhaired coat will require frequent brushing to keep it beautiful and free from matted fur. She has been enjoying daily 'mini spa' sessions with our kennel techs/staff and loves being brushed. Her owner reported that Leia is a very good cat, but she does not do well with other animals. Leia had lived with other cats and dogs, but she gets very jealous of them .. And displayed destructive behavior (scratching etc) to show her displeasure. Leia is very playful. Her favorite activity is sunning herself while lying on the top of the couch. Leia has already been spayed, so she could leave our shelter with her new family very quickly with an approved HSOV adoption application.
