Leafs Age: 5/2023 Sex: Male Leafs is the biggest goof, and always has us laughing. He loves flopping on the ground and rolling around, and enjoys belly rubs and neck scratches. He likes to be with you and near you and has a lovely loud purr whenever he is around you. He likes wand toys, but also plays a lot with plastic springs and jingle balls, carrying them around the house in his mouth. He is not a picky eater and has excellent litterbox habits. He likes to find the highest perch in the house, but will come running for pets when he sees you. He has a bit of a bad habit of sometimes attacking feet, but is easily redirected to his toys and just needs a bit more positive reinforcement to focus his attention in the right place. He gets along well with his siblings (Jets and Senators) and would likely do well with other cats. He was recently diagnosed with FeLV, so he will be looking for a home with no other cats or with another FeLV+ cat. Come and meet this sweet little monkey to see if he’s right for you! FELV is called Feline leukaemia virus. It is an aggressive retrovirus that weakens cats ability to fight secondary infections and in serious cases can cause cancer. Only cats can get it. Not your dog. Not you. ONLY CATS. In some cases cats test positive and when retested a year later they are negative so we will be doing a second test for him in 1 year.
