My Story

Lansing is an extremely gentle, affectionate, black cat who greets everyone who comes to our rescue and just wants to be loved on. He showed up, skin and bones, to eat where a kind lady was feeding two feral cats. He stuck around all summer, craving food and attention. However, the lady was worried about how he would survive the winter and started looking for somewhere safe for him to go. He came to us on 10-28-09 after being tested for feline leukemia/FIV (negative) and neutered. He is now a healthy, hefty boy, and we were told he is approximately 1 year old. But he also appears to be very sad. He is probably wondering what happened to his family and why he was abandoned. He likes being stroked and will rub around your legs until you pet him. He gets along well with the other kitties in the rescue. Lansing's adoption fee is $50 which includes his distemper combo (12-31-09) and rabies vaccinations (12-31-09), and a Frontline treatment (12-31-09). For more information on this nice boy, please contact [email protected] or call Jann at 517-410-0074. A phone call will usually get faster results than an email evenings and weekends. Lansing was adopted on 01-07-10, along with kitten Melodey. They now live in Dimondale, MI, with the Johnson family.
