My Story

Lady Bug is our gentle little girl. She is a 12 week old, tuxedo, domestic short hair. Bottle-fed by her dedicated foster mom until she was weaned, Lady Bug has grown into a sweet and affectionate kitten. Dont get us wrong, shes still a rambunctious kitten, but as far as rambunctious kittens go shes on the gentler side. She doesnt have a shy bone in her body and is brave to a fault, always ready to explore and make new friends. Even with the big dogs that her foster mom brings home! Lady bug greets them on her hind legs ready to play if theyll let her! She loves playing with her brother, Roley Polie, as well as the adult cats and dog in her foster home. Lady Bug has a special fondness for her doggy sibling's tail, which she loves to try and catch as it wags! Her playful nature makes the house liven up. When it's time to wind down, Lady Bug turns into the ultimate cuddle bug. She will seek out the closest warm spot, whether thats with you, her sibling, or the family dog. Shes all about cuddles and loves to snuggle up and purr herself to sleep. If youre looking for a lively and affectionate kitten to add to your family, Lady Bug is the perfect choice. Shes sure to bring endless joy and warmth to your home with her playful antics and loving nature. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty youve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 14,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
