LACE is a 2 yr old DLH black kitty who was adopted out last February with her sister Chantilly. They were returned due to a move out of the country with the Peace Corps. The family was heartbroken to bring them back, but it was unfeasible for them to quarantine them for 6 months with no contact. She is a very sweet kitty and is wonderful with children. The 3 year old carried her around the house over his shoulder, and she doesn't seem to care what is done to her, as long as she is loved. She likes to sleep in bed with the family and loves to cuddle. Lace would like to be an only cat, or perhaps be a companion to only 1 or 2 other cats. Her true personality came out one day when I took her to work with me and she was by herself. She sat in my lap kneading most of the day and let everyone hold her. She is ok with dogs as long as they aren't aggressive about chasing cats.
