Good in a home with
Kyrie is a gorgeous 8-month-old female Chinchilla Persian. With those beautiful green eyes she will melt your heart. Her little chirps and gentle affectionate rolls on the floor to get a pat certainly earn lots and lots of pats. She is a petite little thing weighing in at only four pounds (just about right for her young age). She doesn't seem to enjoy sharing her space with all the felines at Chatopia (our adoption center) but the other cats are doing all they can to make her feel welcome.
Kyrie was recently spayed while in full heat, so we suspect that her crabby behaviour towards other cats is a temporary result of a "hormone crash," so for now we recommend that she goes to a home without other cats. If anything changes, we'll post an update.
The photos of Kyrie being groomed don't exactly do her justice, but in case you're wondering how we get Persian eyes so clean, now you know: some 1% boric acid solution applied with a soft baby's toothbrush.
