Kurt and Abel came in to our rescue the beginning of March. They came from not a very good place - dirty, very little food and too many cats. Kurt has come a long way. - he hid for a couple of weeks in the room at his foster home, but through patience and love he is out an about. He relies on Abel who is his father and follows his lead. Once he gets to know you he loves to cuddle, sit with you, purrs up a storm when petted and play with all his toys. He still startles with sudden noises and movements. We are not sure if he was abused in his previous home - when he first arrived the sight of a broom put him in panic mode and he ran for his life. So sad. It is recommended that they start out in a safe room with food, litter until they get used to you. Kurt will need a little patience to feel comfortable in a new surrounding. His adoption fee is $250. He has been flea treated, dewormed, received his FVCRP and rabies vaccines, neutered and microchipped. AVA has an indoor and no declaw policy. They are in a foster home on Hamilton mountain.
