My Story

AN APPLICATION IS REQUIRED! COPY AND PASTE THE FOLLOWING LINK FOR APPLICATION: www.columbianacountyhumanesociety.com Meet Kobe! Kobe was sadly returned to us. He has a shy demeaner and takes a while for him to warm up to people. He does want affection, but gets a little nervous when people go too fast. He is currently one of our older kittens. He's a sweet boy that just needs a chance to prove himself. He's current on all vaccines and neutered. He's also microchipped. Come meet Kobe today! Since being in foster Kobe as really come out of his shell and now loves to cuddle. He still gets a little scared when you move too fast, but he has done great with his other kitty companions and small dogs. Once you submit an application online, it will be reviewed and our adoption coordinator will be in contact with you. This may take a couple days, especially with puppies, we tend to get more applications on puppies to sort through, so please be patient. Successful adoptions and placement of our animals is taken very seriously here at CCHS so, not every application will be approved.. We must make certain that each animal is placed in a home that best suits the needs of the animal and the needs of the family and home where the animal is being placed. As always, if you have another dog in the home, we do REQUIRE a meet and greet prior to final decisions being made by all parties involved. This has proven to be best for the animal and the potential adopters in attempts to prevent issues once getting your new pet into their fur-ever homes, as much as we love each and every one of them, we don’t want them to get returned. Our animals come up to date on vaccines, microchipped and spayed/neutered, however, we always recommend taking any new pet to your primary veterinarian for a well check to get them established for routine care. Please feel free to fill out your inquiry/application through the link provided in this ad or visit our website at columbianacountyhumanesociety.com and fill out the pre-adoption form there.
