My Story

Our rescues mean a lot to the vet staff and DunRoamin' volunteers. We do everything we can to find the perfect homes for these pets, who are being given a second chance at a happy life. The application process requires pre-adoption applications, references, and interviews with you and those listed on your application in order to ensure a successful placement. If you are interested in learning more about the pet listed, please complete an application at https://form.jotform.com/60793520585259 and a representative will be in touch! **The email used for listings is not actively monitored and inquiries made through these ads will not receive a reply. Klink came to us from Gladwyn on June 11, 2024 as a stray who was part of a colony. He had had diarrhea for many weeks and no one was able to take him in or help him. Born about June 13, 2022, he was very skinny, had ear mites, fleas and had fecal balls and diarrhea in his long black fur to the point that he had to be shaved to remove the hard, dried layers. Klink initially appeared to be a bit wild, but that was just his fear showing. Once he was shaved, had some medication on board and was eating his Royal Canin Gastrointestinal food to help with his diarrhea, he showed himself to be a sweetheart who loves to be patted and loved, and he certainly loves his warm, soft bed! Once he has been neutered, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for all parasites, he will be anxiously searching for a home with someone who will love him for the rest of his life. It appears he is going to be an extremely loving little boy - we can't wait to learn more about his personality as he begins to feel better! He will be ready for a home by mid-to-late July, and he can't wait to meet his new family!
