My Story

Hi, I'm Joy. I was just three weeks old when I was found in the grass along a sidewalk of a busy street. I was in critical condition and went to the vet soon after arriving at SBACC. I was infested with fleas, was anemic and dehydrated, and had an eye infection and a URI. I went to a foster home where I was nursed back to health. I was very scared at first, but I came to love my foster Mom. I'm still very shy around people who I don't know but I'm a friendly girl with my foster Mom and loved to take naps on her lap. I liked playing and cuddling with the other kittens in my foster home. My foster mom calls me a sweetheart and given time and patience she says I will make a wonderful lap kitty. I must go home with another kitten or young cat to help me overcome my shyness and so I will have a playmate and cuddle buddy.
