My Story

* Affectionate, playful, & social * Great with other cats, OK with older kids Say hello to Kidden! She is a petite little girl, only about a year old, and she has the cutest little polydactyl paws with extra toes! She just loves hanging out near you and getting petted! When around her foster mom, she always rolls over to show her belly and even invites some belly rubs -- at least when she's not in play mode! In addition to being social and affectionate, she's also very playful and loves her little rattle mice and her ball tower, and she'll get very excited when you pull out the wand toy for her -- particularly if it has feathers on the end! Kidden doesn't mind being held and even settles into a lap when placed there, purring all the while. She has the potential to be a great snuggly lap cat! However, Kidden can still be startled by sudden movements and loud noises and will be initially a little shy with new people. She was found as an older kitten in an alley, caring for her kittens, which she'd hidden in a garbage can. She must have had some human contact at some point, but she'd obviously been out on her own for a long time. While she took great care of her kittens, she was terrified of humans and living indoors. But we thought she deserved a chance, so Kidden has spent the last few months getting accustomed to people and the inside life -- and she's doing GREAT! She has already gained so much confidence, and will only continue growing into the amazing pet she's already showing us she can be! Kidden really likes other cats and would love a friendly cat friend. Because she is easily startled, she would do best in a quieter home with adults and older kids who can be patient with her at first. She will only grow more confident with time and love, so patient people willing to let her blossom would be ideal! Because, she is easily startled, we're recommending a home without dogs for now. Kidden will come to her forever home with her own little "safe place", her cat tree. Kidden is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and up-to-date on all of her vaccinations. Now all she needs is a forever home, so click the link to apply for her! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScN-71O2iMuu_TEXzLqqPfz2zV64uRH_IsluUvF-QiVFQN_Ug/viewform
