We unfortunately don't know much about Kevin the III's previous life before he came to Good Mews. We do know that his last owner passed away, and the surviving family of the deceased were unable to care for him. Kevin the III is very affectionate and quiet, and has a shiny and super-soft coat. He is ear-tipped so he may have lived outside at some point. When he came to GM he was in pretty good condition, so we think whoever was caring for him did show him love. Kevin's the III's name is not a reference to his lineage -> he was named by the volunteer who found him, in honor of a human Kevin. A fitting name for a distinguished gentleman!
