My Story

Kenneth is one of the infamous Waterbury22. He and his housemates came to our shelter after being dumped outside Waterbury Animal Control in the snow, in freezing temperatures, covered in their own excrement. After a couple of months in foster care where he was given proper vet care, good food, and some much needed TLC, Kenneth is ready for his forever home. He has lived with many other cats and gets along fine with them. Kenneth is a cautious, worried boy who is working to overcome the trauma of his previous living situation and finally learning how to be a cat. He is still a bit nervous at the initial meeting but settles quickly to enough pets and chin scratches. Kenneth would be best suited for a home with adults only and at least one other kitty. NO dogs for Kenneth! Kenneth is about 5-6 years old (maybe younger). He is neutered, vaccinated, tested FeLV/FIV negative, and is microchipped. Kenneth has a heart murmur. A recent cardiac ultrasound shows that his heart is working properly, and he does not require any medications. Kenneth is current on flea/tick prevention.
