Kelce

Kelce lived most of his life as a well-cared for outside cat. He loves people (especially men). His caretaker asked us to help when he started wanting to come inside because he's terribly allergic. Kelce has taken to indoor life like a pro. He lounges around enjoying the A/C, he sleeps at the foot of the bed, he snuggles close to me while I work. He's a terrific buddy cat. He's also GIANT. His paws are as big as my hand, he weighs around 17 lbs - we wouldn't be surprised if there was some Mainecoon in his gene pool. We named him after a revered tight-end and it suits him well. He does have a few quirks... he likes to swat people when he wants attention. We've been trimming his claws so his swats are mostly cute, but you must keep him trimmed. He also likes to show love with bites, he has learned I don't like his bites, but he still attempts this trick on new people. Our guess is he'd do best as an only cat. Given his size and knowing he was just neutered recently, he was most definitely a king in his old land and will want to be king in his new castle too. Kelce will let me carry him around, he feels like a toddler in my arms. He enjoys playing with toys, he'll chase a laser, and he'll go crazy for cat nip. He really is a sweet boy, looking for a place to chill for the next 10 years of his life!
