Kathy came to temporarily live with us while her owner was in the hospital. He has moved to assisted living but isn't able to care for her again. While she has been in our care she has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and inflammatory bowel disease. She received radioactive iodine therapy for the hyperthyroidism and no longer needs medication for it. She is however on an inexpensive medication for her IBD. She can be a real sweet girl with lots of purrs when she's in the mood, other times she does a bit of growling but never bites. She co-exits with other animals just fine. She is looking for a home where she can live out her senior kitty years with lots of good food and head scratches.
