Kat

Meet Kat (A210145)! Kat is four years young and looking for a loving home at the shelter. Kat is a wonderful kitty who lost her home through a divorce. Kat loves petting and purring and enjoys sitting on your lap or sleeping on you. Kat takes time to feel comfortable with a new person and it is best to allow her to approach you for pets and not force attention on her or she might swat at your hand get you to stop. Recommend no young kids. Trust takes time, but the payoff is huge for this sweet girl who is all about the love and cuddles. Kat grew up with another cat and although things were rough at first, once she got to know him they were buddies. She also lived with dog and they got along as he was calm and respectful. Kat could get along with other pets, but it would need to be a good match where the animal would respect her and give her space as they get to know eachother and the introduction would have to be slow and gradual. Kat prefers a canned food diet and has been raised indoors only. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months). All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
