My Story

Kat is a CH kitty who was abandoned in an apartment in Bay Ridge when her owner was evicted. Kat has fought her way into many hearts with her sweet disposition, silly antics, and absolute desire to please. Kat needs a quiet, stable home where she can relax and be herself, a lap or two that she can crawl on, and someone to cuddle with and call her own. CH (Cerebellar Hypoplasia), aka Wobbly Cat Syndrome, is a condition where her cerebellum did not develop fully. It does not progress or cause her any pain. Kat's CH is considered moderate which means she has some physical challenges like not being able to jump. She is simply different and does not even know it. Kat is extremely smart and very determined to not let her handicap get in the way. Kat is a very determined 8 year old girl with a clean bill of health. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and even got her teeth cleaned! Adopting a special needs cat requires some extra patience and attentiveness to their needs. We are here to guide you through all the steps to make the perfect home for Kat. If you'd like to meet this lovely girl please complete our online adoption application https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/ and write Tara as their rescuer. You can email Tara at [email protected] Thank you for thinking of a rescue animal in need of a loving home! Adopting one animal will help to open space for future furry-friends dreaming of forever homes! All Brooklyn Animal Action cats and dogs are available to adopt, foster and foster-to-adopt.
