Kane is a lovely Black Maine Coon boy, about 5 weeks old. He is amazingly sweet and outgoing. This little boy will be ready to go home about the first to middle of June.
Adoption fee is $150 or adopt him with one of his sweet siblings for $175. This includes his neuter.
If the adopter opts to neuter (by signing a neuter contract), the adoption fee is $100 and covers his FIV/FeLV test, his shots, his wormings, and flea treatment.
Who We Are:
We are a not-for-profit organization who is committed to helping Siamese and Long-Haired Breed cats (Ragdolls and Maine Coons primarily, though we do accept other long-haired breeds). All of our expenses are funded by personal and private donations. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
Adoption Process:
We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you email us, we will provide you with an application - either by email or by mail.
Adoption Fees:
Our adoption fees are as follows: adults are $150; kittens (spayed or neutered) are $175. We occasionally have reduced fees - these will be noted on the individual cat's listing. If someone adopts more then one cat from us, we will reduce the adoption fee of the second cat by $25. The adoption fees help defray SOME of the costs associated with rescuing/fostering these kitties. Please note: if someone places a deposit on a cat/kitten to "hold" them until they are ready to go home, and the person changes his or her mind, the deposit is non-refundable - it is only refundable if the cat/kitten become unadoptable for some reason.
Out of state adoption:
Merlin's Hope does NOT do out-of-state adoptions other than states contiguous to Texas (LA, Oklahoma, NM).
