Kali

Kali needs a new home. This beautiful girl was dropped off to us by a man who had been evicted. We were supposed to "babysit" her until he found a new place to stay, and he said he would then take her back. He called the next day to say he still hadn't found a place....and then we never heard from him again and we cannot reach him. It has been several weeks. This loving, shy kitty needs a new forever home. She originally was a little bit intimidated by all of the other cats in the house, since she was used to being an only kitty, and she was hiding behind furniture. But in the last couple of days, she has finally become more comfortable and is walking around, checking out the house and the various rooms. We thought we had found her a new home, only to have her returned once again, within a couple of days, being told that the new owner thought she was ready for a new cat, but realized she just wasn't ready...she was still too sad about the recent death of her cat and having another cat around reminded her of her companion's death and was too painful. So once again, Kali needs a new home. She has been through so much... I don't have a picture of her, but she is a slim, beautiful calico kitty, who is about 5 years old.
