I was born 4/12/2022 inside of a rescuer's home and was lucky enough to only know warmth, comfort, and kindness my entire life, despite being born to a feral mom. The rescue people saw that my mom was pregnant on the street and decided to catch her and let her give birth. I can't believe I just turned a year old and still no one has adopted me. I'm hoping you can change that! I'm very playful, yet also reserved. I can come off as a bit serious at times, and have been like that since I was baby. I am a perfect balance of independent and snuggly, and I can be either of those things depending upon the time of day and the overall vibe. I have become more and more affectionate in recent months, as the number of kittens where I am decreases and I'm able to get more attention. I can still be shy with new people though, so if you adopt me, you'd have to give me time to adjust, especially if I'm adopted alone with no other cats. The caretaker also says that I'm the smartest one of all of the kitties. She does this thing where she herds everyone into a room to be able to make our food and not be disturbed. Everyone just runs right in so easily and she closes the door and then they cry to get out. I just always wonder why they run in there to begin with when they know what the outcome will be. So needless to say, I never run in and I get to hang out with the human as she makes the food, and I get to eat first as a result! Holler at Fur Real NYC if you think I'm cute, and let's do this!
