Junior

Junior was just one of 20 cats rescued from one home in late February. The family was moving in less than a week and couldn't take 20 of their 27 cats. Had FOCAS not stepped in, these cats would have been surrendered to a kill shelter where they would have faced a very uncertain future. Thanks to the amazing FOCAS foster volunteers, FOCAS was able to absorb these cats into the adoption program. Now we are actively looking for forever homes for all of these wonderful felines. Junior is a beautiful (and sassy) DMH, almost entirely white with a few dark spots. She was born in about March of 2008 and though full grown is quite petite, she still looks like a kitten. Although a bit confused and upset when she first arrived at her foster home, she settled in nicely in just a few days. She's a sweetheart! Independent, but very affectionate, she loves to be pet. Junior will do well in a home with other cats or by herself. We know she'll truly love having the attention of her human companion(s) that she missed in her first home.
