My Story

A community cat named Julius was found wandering the streets with an agonizing struggle. A trap ensnared his foot, causing unbearable pain. When a kind-hearted person found him, they removed the trap, but Julius fled, only to return days later in a heart-wrenching state. Julius' middle toes were grotesquely swollen and infected, the bones exposed, while his outer toes dragged along the ground, providing him scant balance in the harsh outdoor environment. This once lively community cat was now a shadow of his former self as he was trapped in a life-threatening world of agony. However, despite his suffering, Julius displayed a remarkably sweet nature, earning him the affectionate nickname 'Orange Julius.' He allowed himself to be placed in a carrier, understanding that these strangers were his only chance of relief. He is now neutered and had his amputee surgery 6/19. He has healed and can run around like a normal cat, jumping up on couches to sit with you. He would love nothing more than to escape his past and be a. Indoor lap cat that gets all the LOVES.
