I'm Julieanne, a pretty long-haired Seal Point Himalayan. Do you think I look like a kitten? Well, I'm not! I look like a kitten but the vet says I am really probably about a year old and full-grown! They say I am a "miniature" and that this is pretty unusual. My roommate, Soosie, is like this too! Otherwise I am very friendly, enjoy attention, being petted, and I will give up some good purrs too. I am playful, but not super playful like some cats can be...I am more ladylike I guess. My former caretaker was a sweet lady but she was elderly and had a hard time taking care of me, Soosie and Duke. When she was relocated to a nursing home after Hurricane Gustav in New Orleans, we moved into a ferret rescue...can you believe? I am pretty sure we don't look like ferrets. But then we ended up here at the House of Mews so here we are waiting for new forever homes. Approx. DOB is 1/08 (?).
