My Story

No one likes fur sticking to their apricots --- but how about an apricot fur ball?! LOL. That's Josephine! A very sweet and very pretty apricot/calico girl, she is initially shy and can take a bit of time to warm up and she's probably not going to hang out actually in your lap, at least not for starters ... but don't be surprised if you find you have a terrific bed buddy. :) Jo will snuggle right up against you when you settle down and things get quiet. She also thinks chin scritches are a little bit of heaven. But her real idea of heaven is a cat buddy: Jo absolutely adores cats! She loves a cat playmate; in fact, she's such an animal-lover, she's even willing to be buddies with a cat-friendly dog. A big fan of toys, especially a spring or one with a string, her favorite "toy" is another playful cat! In fact, a kitty playmate is so essentially to her well-being we are requiring she be adopted into a home with another suitable cat companion. And you even get to try her out before you decide to adopt! She has been successfully treated for an inflammatory condition but we want to make sure she has truly beaten the bug so initially her placement will be as a "foster-to-adopt" until she completes her post-treatment observation period. Estimated DOB: 9/7/23
