Jinxy & Pumpkin

1-4-24 we want a happy new year for this pair. They were adopted as kittens from us 7 and 8 years ago by a woman who lost her housing last year. She asked me to keep them for a month, but I gave her 5 months, and she is not returning my calls. So, these lovely middle-aged chubby darlings are in need of a new and stable home. Jinxy is an 8yr old tabby. He was dumped at NY's NYC ACC as a kitten with a badly broken leg. Despite being a well-equipped/funded shelter, the NYC ACC only deals with so much, and so we pulled Jinxy off the TO-BE-DESTROYED list. We brought him to Boston and orthopedically fixed his leg. He will always have one (rear) leg shorter than the other, but HE HAS ALL HIS LEGS! He's a bit (let's say) overweight, and a diet would help him feel his best and be helpful to his leg, and his whole being over time. He is very sweet and a bit sassy at times-especially to Pumpkin, who only wants to be his friend (see picture)! I wouldn't put Jinxy with any other cat because he is alpha, and Pumpkin is ok with that. Pumpkin is orange(duh). She is the sweetest chubby girl and only wants to also be where you are! She is 7. She was just a kitten when also put on the TBD list in NY. She had/has no health issues; they just kill them when they're full-which still happens even today. These guys are neutered and spayed, negative for diseases and will be updated on their shots and have a vet exam this month. PLEASE EMAIL US FOR AN APPLICATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
