Jema the Siamese and Rocket the tabby cat are a bonded pair of 4 year old friends who have been together since they were kittens. They love to cuddle together and give each other baths but are also quite independent and like to do their own thing. Rocket is very friendly and will rub all over you and enjoys pets while Jema prefers to be left alone. She can be touched and does enjoy getting treats, but will probably never be a friendly cat like Rocket. Rocket can get overstimulated during petting, so gentle pets and taking breaks is best. He also really enjoys playing with string toys.
Both can be shy at first and will take a few days to warm up to new people. Letting them approach you and giving Rocket treats is the best way to win their hearts. They need to go to an indoor/outdoor home together and will need to be kept indoors for the first 3 week in order to acclimate to their home. They get along with other cats and would probably be fine with a respectful dog. A home without small children would be best. The adoption fee for both cats is $50.
