Janis arrived at the shelter when her owner died and now she is looking for a new place to call home. Her foster checked in recently and said:
Janis is extremely sweet and loving but can be shy at first. Once she is settled in and comfortable she loves to be pet.
After a couple weeks of settling in when she would hear that we were home she would come to the top of the stairs and meow until we would go down to be with her. She would lead me over to the couch to sit down with her so she could be pet and make biscuits. Although she is a lap cat she never really liked to be picked up.
