Jade

Jade is a beautiful 1 year old female gray cat. Jade came to Hazel’s House Rescue on May 1st, the same day she gave birth the her 4 babies. Jade being just a baby still herself, was under a year and became pregnant during her first heat cycle. Jade’s past is unclear but it seems that she was living outdoors for some time before someone in the neighborhood noticed she was pregnant and took her in. Jade was once loved by humans because she is very friendly, affectionate and at times vocal for some attention (in a sweet little chirp kind of way) and doesn’t mind being held! Although Jade definitely lived outdoors she is comfortable lounging around on the bed or couch with you. It did take Jade some time to get used to loud house hold items such as fans and vacuums. She can be nervous when something is loud or startling. For this reason I would recommend a household without young children. I think the noise and chaos would be too overwhelming for this girl. Jade would also do best in a home without dogs. She has made it very clear that she does not like them one bit! But we think she would probably be just fine with another cat. Jade's adoption fee is $50. She is fixed, chipped, dewormed, flea treated, vaccinated, fiv/felv negative and had a wellness exam. We are accepting applications until Thursday at 5 pm. Decisions will be made by Friday afternoon and adoptions are on Sunday. For cats and kittens we do not do meet and greets. We are also not first come first serve.
