JACLYN is 6 weeks old now. She came from a rural cat rescue who had found her. JACLYN'S eyes were badly infected and infested with maggots. She's all cleaned up and better now but may need future surgery to remove the rest of the eyeball. Of course, she is still a ways off from being old enough to be spayed.
JACLYN was so tiny and helpless and the other rescue didn't really know what to do with her, so we took her. JACLYN is sweet and snugly and gets along with the other cats and the dog. (She loves to curl up in Bo the Collie's mane and go to sleep!)
Cats adapt quite well to being blind but she will need a special home where they will look out for her, keep things constant in her area so she can learn her surroundings and move about confidently, and another pet who will mother her would be nice.
