My Story

Jackson Precious is full of life and cuteness. This little black bundle of fun and sweetness was found in a cat lover's garage in Jackson, MI, and came to us on 6-29-24. She was covered with lice and had a strange-looking eye. It turns out that she has entropion. "Entropion is a condition in cats where the eyelid rolls inward, causing the eyelashes and fur to rub against the cornea. This can be painful and irritating, and if left untreated, it can lead to eye damage, ulcers, inflammation, discharge, and even blindness." Her eye does appear to be damaged, so at time of spaying, it may have to be removed. Precious's adoption fee is $150, and will include spaying when she's 4-5 months (with possible eye removal at that time,) a distemper combo (FVRCP) shot (7-3-24--CAHS), deworming (Strongid--7-3-24--CAHS), flea/lice treatment (Revolt--7-3-24--CAHS), and microchipping through 24Petwatch (7-3-24--CAHS). She tested negative for Feline leukemia and FIV (7-3-24--CAHS). For more information on this adorable kitten, please contact Jann at 517-410-0074 or at [email protected]. A phone call or text will usually get fastest results.
