My Story

Arlo and Jack were rescued as strays living in a junkyard, surviving on whatever they could find. Lots of cats are in similar spots, but they also have cerebellar hypoplasia, or wobbly kitten syndrome which means their brains didnt develop properly affecting their motor skills. Arlos condition is mild, while Jacks is moderate. We have no doubt they wouldnt have survived living outdoors, unable to defend themselves and struggling to live on their own. Jack and Arlo dont know that theyre any different than other cats, but they do know that theyve been given a paw up in life since coming indoors! Theyve learned to love Churus, cat huts, and ribbon toys. Because of their mobility issues, they dont use a litter box but instead use pee pads (no litter all over the house!). Because of how they grew up, theyre very leery of human touch but theyre super interactive with other cats and are always out and about in their foster home. Theyll also come running when they hear the treat jar or other cats playing with a laser. Theyre also fine with cat-savvy dogs! Adopting Jack and Arlo is giving a home to two cats that didnt stand a chance!
