My Story

Jabbawookie is the smallest kitten in her litter. She is also the only girl. Her story started when our rescue got a call from someone who found three tiny, nursing kittens tossed in a carboard box in the alley. We took one look at the trio, all cuddled tightly together, and knew right away how very special they are. Despite her tiny size, Jabbawookie is not shy in vocalizing her needs and wants. If the milk temperature was not to her liking, then Jabba will let you know loudly. If she is interrupted in her playtime for feeding, Jabba will let you know she is not ready for the bottle. However, when it's cuddle time and she is not the first one to be picked up, there will be vocal disapproval. We love the fact that she is such a talker and such a diva in the foster home. This kitten only becomes more endearing as she gets older. She likes being held and is totally in agreement when you tell her how very pretty she is. Her gorgeous green eyes will look straight into you and her cute little face is so kissable. Jabbawookie is fostered in a multi-cat household and is used to a large dog. Come and meet her and her siblings: Alfie and Cubbie. They are bigger than her but just as sweet in temperament. Please note the following: We always do vet reference checks and we WILL NOT adopt kittens or cats into household where the residential pets are unvaccinated. This is to ensure the safety of BOTH our kitten/cat and your current pets. We also only adopt locally and will reserve the right to deny Meet and Greet as our volunteers cannot do any home visits if the distance is too great. This is a No Exception Rule: Due to its young age, this kitten cannot be adopted into a home that has no other young cat(s) or kitten(s) for it to socialize with. Consider adopting the kitten with a sibling if you don't already have a kitten or cat at home. To Meet and Greet our kittens/cats, please contact 214 621 1139 for an application form for Seaweed.
