My Story

Meet Ivy! Ivy is a beautiful tiger striped tabby with big green eyes! She is Ivy is ready for adventure and is ready to explore any new place you take her too. She was the first to roam around and explore. Never once did she hide from me. She is always willing to come up to you for pets and lovins Ivy has the cutest little pointed ears and the most enchanting green/blue eyes. She has a social but playful personality! has the sweetest little purr that makes your heart melt. This sweet girl really enjoys playing with her bell toys and can usually be found perched in a cat tree. Shell hope down when a human walks into the room, and rub against your leg, or meow for pets. Ivy also likes to play with the other cats here at the rescue, wrestling and having a great time! Ivy is also very clever and a quick learner. She is a master at the litter box she is always making sure everything is clean and tidy. Ivy free roams here at the rescue in our cat barn, with two other kitties. She likes human affection, but allows other cats to be pet and loved on in her presence. She could do well in a home with other cats! Her perfect home has at least one adoring person to call her own, but shes not too picky about the rest. This sweet kitty is ready for her furever family! We are willing to test this girl with anything you need us to in order to ensure shes the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Dont miss out on this girl! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty youve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 14,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
