My Story

IVANA's name suits her well. This gorgeous cat has a personality similar to the infamous Ivana Trump meaning that she is proud, independent, stunning, and very sure of herself. On the other hand, Ivana can also be characterized as easy going. She is happy to lay in one spot for as long as you want to pet her. If you only have time to pet her for a couple of minutes, that's fine with her. If you have time to pet her for an hour, that's also fine with her. In either case, she will lie back, sigh, and look at you with her striking eyes.

Ivana is from the Korat breed which explains her unique beauty and characteristics. The Cat Fanciers' Association describes a Korat as follows:

Eyes - luminous green in color that are expressive and oversized for the face with a depth and intense gaze that takes your breath away.

Fur - roots of the hair are a light bluish color, darkening before the ends become silver-tipped. This silvering over the whole body should make a halo, or aura, effect and the close lying fur shines like a polished silver dollar. Hair does not float off when they are being stroked and petted, so many people with an allergy to cat hair find their proximity tolerable.

Senses - extraordinary powers of hearing, sight and scent.

Mannerism - gentle pets, moving softly and cautiously.

Relationship - form an exceptionally strong bond of affection with their owners and respond warmly to cuddling, setting as close as possible.

Myth - they are considered a symbol of good fortune.
