My Story

dob 8/1/22 Isla was part of the Kalkaska 38, a huge hoarding and abandonment rescue TC Paw did over Labor Day weekend. You can read about it here on the website. Most of the Kalkaska cats followed the same pattern - frightened at first, but then they turned into lovers. That is Isla. She purrs the minute she sees her foster mom, and she cuddles easily and comfortably. She loves playing with her peacock feather, and she scratches on her cardboard scratching pad like a good kitty. Isla drinks water by sticking her paw in her water dish and then licking her paw. It's cute. She's a little cautious around new things and people, but she has learned to accept the dog and to realize that the resident cats are not a threat. Besides her foster, Isla's favorite snuggle pal is Pip, the cat she came in with. Sometimes they lie so close together that they look like a two-headed cat. They'd like to stay together. Take a look at Pip's page too. If you are interested in adopting this TC Paw cat or would like to set up a meet-and-greet, please complete the Pre-adoption Application .
