Ish (Ishmael)

Meet Ish, short for Ishmael. He is a retired, outside tom cat. Just over a year ago, he has trapped and brought into the shelter, because he was limping with bloody paws. It was discovered he had a sever case of "Pillow Foot (Pododermatitis)". This causes paws to swell like pillows, bleed and cause pain. After a LOT of TLC, cage rest and even a paw surgery. This guy is A-okay and healthy! Even after a year in a cage, this guy remains, calm, sweet and very quiet. He enjoys pets but doesn't know how to ask. He is large, about 8 years old and ready to bust out of this place. A quiet, loving, indoor home would be best for our guy. The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.
