My Story

Irish is currently available to meet you in person at Best Friends New York Soho Lifesaving Center located at 307 West Broadway, near Canal Street. The Lifesaving Center is open to visitors 11:00 am - 7:00 pm, 7 days a week (with last adoptions done at 6:30 pm). Meet Irish, a distinguished 7-year-old male orange tabby. With his rich, vibrant coat and gentle demeanor, Irish is a seasoned companion ready to bring warmth and affection to his new home. He is settling in nicely in foster care. They describe him as laid-back, timid, and quiet. He loves treats , and enjoys napping on the sofa and getting pets. He has a deep purr and occasionally sticks out his tongue. His foster love his super soft fur and how he likes to be close to them. He gives them morning kisses and head butts, and is playful. Irish is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed, ensuring he's in excellent health and prepared to join his new family. His calm and loving nature makes him a wonderful addition to any household. Irish is FIV positive. FIV is an autoimmune condition of some cats, our knowledgeable staff will provide details. Cats can live long and healthy lives with FIV. *Please note we do not hold animals for adoption*
