** In order to adopt a kitten from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitten and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. You will need to bring the kitten back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay neuter/surgery** This is the absolutely gorgeous, Iris. Iris and her sisters were found by a kind person who took care of them until we had room to take them at the shelter. This adorable crew has an estimated birthdate of 4/22/24, so they're only about 13 weeks old. This impossibly gorgeous trio are all very sweet, but a little on the shy side. Iris is the most outgoing of the crew, who is super sweet, patient and tolerant. These little beauties will all need to be brushed often to maintain their gorgeous coats, so please be sure to keep that in mind if considering adopting one of these lovely ladies! Even though these girls look like little super models, they also know how to get down to business when it comes to play time. They are super playful and they especially love crinkle balls, furry mice and anything with feathers. Being so young, all three of these ladies would do fine in a home with other kitties or dogs. But slow and proper introductions must still be conducted. They would do fine with children in the home as well, but maybe kids who are a little older and know not to be rough with kittens, and ones who are aware of their presence to not sit or step on them. It includes: a microchip, spay or neuter, set of shots, de-worming, and a 1-year rabies vaccine (if old enough). Fees can be made by cash or credit card.
