Inky

14-year old Inky is one of 14 cats that suddenly lost their owner in July, leaving a huge void in their lives. Inky, along with her brothers Bouncer and Rudy, were rescued as kittens by a quirky but special man who rescued dozens of cats in his lifetime and took them into his home. The man was well known throughout Jefferson county and beyond as "Coach." He never married and lived "alone" in the house he grew up in with over a dozen cats that he fondly referred to as his "children". Inky, like her brother Rudy, seems a bit shy at first, but once she realizes you are in the room, starts to meow loudly until you give her some love. Coach named her Inky because of her shiny black coat of fur. She is a tiny girl who loves to get on your lap for some love. Inky may be a senior kitty, but she still has a lot of pep in her step! She would love to be your companion for life since hers left way too soon. We promised Coach that we would look after her and the others, but they really want to belong to someone again and have a home again. Sadly, Bouncer has left to join Coach across the Rainbow Bridge, but Inky and her brother Rudy, and their other siblings are waiting to meet you!
