Inky

Inky is a cat looking for a cat savvy owner to take a chance on this once street cat. Inky is young, guessed to be about 2-years-old. He was found as a stray and had some old wounds on him, indicating a tough life. After being trapped and brought to safety, Inky was sweet and calm with humans. Inky was placed in a home with other cats. While he didn't interact with them, Inky was showing aggression with humans. We suspect this had to do with other cats being in "his space". Since we don't have a past on Inky and his first placement wasn't a good fit, we need someone who understands cats body language. Inky presents super friendly, wanting to be on your lap and making biscuits. He gets overstimulated with too much petting so needs a human who knows when he has had enough. Inky does need a pet free home. We feel this is the best way to set him up to succeed! This handsome cat is super playful and loves to run and play with toys. While this is a tougher placement, we feel we can help an adopter succeed and give Inky a good life. We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to [email protected] regarding adoption inquires. Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing [email protected] and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need. Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
