Inky

Meet Inky, a sweet and playful boy who loves attention. While he isn't a lap cat yet, he enjoys being underfoot and eagerly licks Churu treats off your finger. Inky has a curious habit of wandering from plate to plate, sampling everyone's food. Initially skittish when you enter the room, he quickly becomes friendly and loves to be petted. He plays well and would probably do best with another cat, though he might be okay as an only cat if he receives plenty of attention from his human(s). This sweet, floppy boy adores pets, food, and, of course, churus! Inky is FeLV positive, but he is energetic and healthy. Because FeLV is a virus that weakens a cat's immune system, FeLV+ cats can have shorter life-spans, but cats like Inky who are diagnosed as an adult can live to be 10-15 years old. This virus cannot be transmitted to people, dogs or other non-feline animals, but can be transmitted to other cats via shared water and food dishes and grooming each other. Because of this, Inky should be an only cat or live in a home with other FELV+ cats. Approx.
