Indy

Indy is such a soft, sweet, silly girl named after Adobe Indesign (2024) for being slow to warm up. Once she feels safe with you, you'll get to hear all her noises and get nuzzled into all the time. She loves loves loves butt pets, and is now even accepting tummy pets! Now that she is comfortable in her foster home, she runs around and plays, bathes in the sun by the window, and is eager to explore the rest of the house (beyond the foster cat room)! She is always gentle. She loves to greet her person with happy noises when they come in the door and will sometimes cry for their attention if she can't get to them. One of the first sounds she made here was "meep meep" but now is more of a "EE-OO" and "what what?!" girlie. As far as who she gets along with: Indy loves people, loves kittens, is interested in other adult cats (and is gentle with them!), and doesn't seem to be scared of dogs that don't chase her. She does get spooked by young kids. She's excited to see what her next person decides "Indy" is short for. Will it be InDesign (2025)? Indie Band? Wendy? Indy is such a soft, sweet, silly girl. Our adoption process: 1) Fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofelines.org/adopt 2) Meet with the cat in their foster home 3) If you and the cat are a match then we will set a take home date 1-7 days after the meeting depending on schedules. We are a completely foster based nonprofit rescue run by volunteers. We do this work out of love.
