Iduna was taken into foster care 2 days before she have birth to 8 babies. She has been an outdoor cat her whole life and we decided she needed better. She originally came from Beech Island, South Carolina In which the caretaker surrendered her in order for her and her babies to have a chance at life as companion animals.
Shortly after giving birth, she almost died from a uterine infection and needed to have emergency surgery and stay at the hospital a few days. She made a full recovery and she was able to care for her babies after she healed.
She is 8 years old and she is so wonderfully affectionate and loving. She never hisses at anything or anybody. She wants nothing but pets, kisses and snuggles. She has been fixed. She has received all her shots and she is negative for feline AIDS and Leukemia.
