This is HOUSTON. He was born on May 8, 2024. He is as cute and smart as he should be for an eight week old kitten. His mom had a huge mammary tumor that got worse and sadly when he was only six weeks old I had to help her crossover.
His mother was also FIV+. Right now, Houston is testing FIV positive this could be because he has antibodies from his mother. It is not possible to get a reliable test for a kitten who is less than 5-6 months old. There is only a 25-30% chance that he will test positive at that time.
Houston has been dewormed and will be fixed and up-to-date on vaccines when he is old enough. We will also pay for FIV retesting
