Besides tasting all the flavors of the cat food rainbow, Hot Cheeto also enjoys hanging out in his cat tree, bird watching, and bopping around his favorite toys! Hot Cheeto would love a laid back home where he can be himself and watch Top Chef all day. He is most happy to play when it's quiet or with just one or two people around, so a home without young children would likely suit Hot Cheeto best. Just don't forget to hide your food, because is a purr-fessional taste tester and he will scoop a bite! About Ten Lives: Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered.We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
