My Story

HOPE: - female - brown / black tabby with white - DOB: April 2021 (estimated) - can be seen by appointment only Before coming to Cat Angel Network, Hope was rescued and placed in a basement with many, many cats. She tried to get away from the other cats and eventually lived in the rafters. Hope did not have medical attention and had numerous litters of kittens with many not surviving. The house was eventually shut down and Hope needed a home. Enter Cat Angel Network fosters, who have worked with Hope and have tried to relax and reassure her she is safe. Slowly, as she got to know and trust her foster mom, she began to come out from her “safe” spaces and interact with her. She is now out in the open most of the time and is beginning to play with toys independently. She still is skittish and will hide under the couch when unfamiliar people enter the home or if approached too quickly. We feel Hope would do best in a quiet adult only household with no other pets. The perfect adopter would be very patient and understanding and be willing to accept her as she is. Are you that special person? Hope needs you. Please consider adopting this very special kitty and giving her the permanent, loving home she deserves. Hope has been spayed, tested negative for FIV / FeLv, and is current on all required vaccinations. Personality traits: Brave, quiet, Date of photos: July 2024
