Honey Buns, a 16-pound cat, overflows with love beyond words. She greets us at the door, rubs our legs, jumps into our laps, and plays enthusiastically. When we're busy caring for other felines, she plays independently, showing respect. Honey Buns has no demands or expectations, making her a joy to have around. Despite a permanent head tilt caused by previous head trauma, she's one of the happiest felines alive.
Honey Buns has been with us several months while being rehabbed. She came to us with upper respiratory and a head tilt. The vet treated her for upper respiratory and an inner ear infection. The upper respiratory cleared, but the head tilt remained. After multiple vet visits, it was determined that the tilt was the result of head trauma... most likely from being hit or kicked. ? We were assured that the trauma would not affect her quality of life. Anyone adopting this SPECIAL girl will be extremely fortunate to have her in their life. She is exceptional. Honey Buns views herself as petite. She enjoys sleeping in our smallest bed. We notice that there is definite overflow. ?
