My Story

Let me tell you a little about Honey. Honey came into the shelter on April 27th 2010 very scared and very pregnant. That evening she gave birth to one kitten (which has now been adopted to his new home). Honey and baby spent the last 6 weeks being fostered. Over that time Honey has grown to be a lovely cat. When she first came to foster she was very skittish. She spent the first few days under the bed. Slowly with patience and toys she began to come out and socialize. Over the weeks she began to explore the house, befriend the other cats in the house and the other people in the house. Honey is quite vocal and once comfortable loves to spend her evenings cuddled up beside you on the bed while you sleep. Honey is a very small cat for her age. She is only about 6 lbs and will remain small. While fostering it was learned that Honey is petrified of the outdoors. She will happily sit at a window indoors but if she is put outside, even while you are there and on a leash she will freak out. So she MUST be indoor at all times only! Over all Honey is a great little cat that deserves a second chance! If you have the time and patience for this tiny submissive cat then please come on down and see her!
