My Story

It's time to spend every day chilling with your Homie! Homie is ready to be your new best friend! He is a sweet young cat, only a year old, with a unique look- one rounded ear and one pointed ear. He is the chillest of guys, spending most of his time napping or bathing in his favorite cardboard box. He also has a thousand yard stare that would charm the pants off of anyone! Homie likes to communicate in little chips, mews, and squeaks but he isn't super chatty. He makes noises but doesn't sit and meow relentlessly. Every morning Homie likes to play with a wand toy, getting flat as a pancake before his strike! He'll then walk off with the whole wand once he's captured it. This super social guy would love to be adopted into a home with another cat. He loves the foster parent's resident cats! They play and nap together and Homie can even be found trying to bathe the other cats. Homie came to PAWS with a wound on his neck which is all healed up! For some ongoing skin itchiness, he's on a daily medication which he has no problem taking. PAWS can send Homie home with a 3 month care package of his treatments and an adopter should plan to establish care for him at their own vet to continue treatment for his allergies. **FIV is specific to the feline species, and is not transmissible to dogs, humans, or any other animals. It is spread from cat to cat via mating or deep puncture bite wounds. Thankfully, all our cats are spayed or neutered so mating is no longer an option! Since FIV does not spread through casual contact like grooming, sneezing, and food/litter sharing, FIV+ cats can live with other cats that have tested negative as long as the cats get along without fighting. Age: 1 year How I came to PAWS: Found stray Animal ID#: A55739 I am not at the shelter. Please email my foster parent at [email protected] to learn more about me!
